6 members met at Blagon for a days fishing on the famous lake. Billy Dickson. John Turner, Peter Coleman=-Smith, Jon Ogbourne and Nick Strang on the bank with Alun Hughes the only one out on the lake with his boat partner. Now for Billy's words - Hope that you are not too sunburned this morning. I have a very red nose, but am otherwise fine. The fishing was just as tough as last year, but it was still an enjoyable day. Those hatches of midges later on were fantastic to see, just a pity to trout did not really respond. Nick caught one trout before lunch and Jon another about 7pm. I practiced close range catch and release with a pike of about 4lbs, and Peter similarly hooked and lost two trout in the evening.
